  3. Can gourd seeds be taken from vegetables to grow plants ?

  4. Yes you can preserve seeds from a mature gourd but its advisable to buy packaged seeds of a good company as it ensures the quality of gourds you will be getting after putting so much of efforts. I have seen people in my hometown preserving seeds and using them for next season and having good crop also but honestly speaking I have never tried it.

    All the best
